Supermarket Sweep – Sainsbury’s Bags

Tu Bag

Sainsbury’s – Currently 25% off – £13.50

For those who marvel in Fashion, the above bucket bag will be no stranger to you. For those that haven’t seen this style bag, it was Zara’s best seller in my opinion. The bucket bag retails for around £75 upwards in store, so finding a dupe in Sainsbury’s has got to be my all time favourite bargain.

In November last year, Sainsbury’s released a mahogany tanned version of the bucket bag and I was all over it. It was my favourite inexpensive bag at the time, as it was durable in both strength and colour for Uni. So you can imagine my excitement when I read in the TU magazine this month, that they have re-released the range with some exciting new colour variations!

I picked up in-store the ‘Pink’ plaited bucket bag, as seen in my photo above. In my opinion it’s more of a sandy-beige colour, however if it’s good enough for Pippa Middleton, it’s good enough for me. Pippa has recently been spotted with the same colour handbag in this week’s LOOK magazine. My prediction is that this colour will be BIG on both the high street & with designers.

Besides the Sandy colour, Sainsbury’s have also released a metallic silver bucket bag, which can be dressed up & down. Take a look at the metallic bag here.

Away from the bucket bag design, has anyone seen & been drooling over the Sainsbury’s White Structured Bag? Also with 25% off at the moment (£12).

Hats off to the bag designers at Sainsbury’s.

Go on, make my day and leave me a comment. I read every single one. Thanks!! x
