Olivia Burton – £62.00

Aren’t these beauties just the cutest watches ever? I saw the Butterfly facing watch in a local boutique shop and fell instantly in love. I jotted down the brand name on my i-Phone and thought i’d check out the rest of the collection when I got home. Everyone remember the Michael Kors fad? Well, I think Olivia Burton’s time is coming! I love every single watch on the website, which features Woodland, Animal & Flower Motifs. Check out the website here.

Two fashion posts in a row probably means I’ve been doing a little too much internet shopping in the last 24 hours. But, I just HAD to tell you all about my new found love for clothing brand Monki. For those of you who are like ‘Monkey what’, Monki is a staple brand in the blogging community.  Unfortunately, Monki has just the one store in the UK *sigh*, it’s in Carnaby Street, London. A little closer to home is their online shop, where I have racked up an impressive basket total. (If only I could press ‘Proceed to Checkout’ and pay with magic beans).

Above our some of my picks, and my absolute favourite spy from the website is the Sandals! With an iridescent, ever changing band at the front of the sandal. They are so mystically pretty! I can’t wait for the summer months to rock these beauties.

I love the two tee’s, Lily Pebbles from What I Heart Today sported the Emma Tee in her latest video, and I think it’s a great basic tee. The stripey tee is just so me, there is not other justification other than its right up my street.

The Kimmie skirt comes in various colours & patterns, but I choose the Aztek design. It looks comfy and airy so it’s great for humid summer nights…if we ever get good weather again!

In conclusion, check out Monki now!!!! – http://www.monki.com

Going Out-Out! Wish List

Wishlist

1. Shirt – Ebay – £16.20 + free shipping

2. Cross Hair Clip – Ebay – £1.83 per clip + free shipping (Gold, Silver & Rose Gold)

3.  Cut Out Boot – Misguided – £26.99

4. Disco Pants – Boohoo – £10.00

Total: £55.02

It’s been a while since I’ve done a fashion post – so at long last, here it is. If my bank account was a little healthier this would be my going ‘out-out’ outfit [Insert Micky Flanagan Voice here].

£55 for a whole outfit, including shoes is pretty damn good, if you ask me. Especially seeing as the boots are such a versatile piece – dressed up or down. I love the cut out detail and as you don’t need to wear socks, its perfect for the summer months. For the sock lovers, you could wear these boots still, just with some of the super cute frilly, primary school style socks. The history of the cut out boot stemmed from Topshop, which are currently selling on Ebay for £100+, so these Misguided boots are cheap, cheerful & on trend.

My controversial fashion pick is the galaxy style sheer shirt. I personally love it, and think it would be something a little bit different to the norm. I also quite like the galaxy leggings that are knocking about at the moment on the high street. If your loving a bit of the sci-fi scene aswell check out the Romwe website linked below! Romwe’s a bloggers love and I’m definitely loving the ‘Colourful Clouds Print Elastic Skirt’

Beetle Juice

Beetle Juice Trend

Top Right – River Island – Black and White Rihanna Painted Stripe Shorts – £35.00

Top Left – River Island – Black and White Stripe Clip Top Purse – £17.00

Bottom Right – Motel – Skinny Jordan Jean in Black and White Stripe – £48.00

Bottom Left – Topshop -Stripe Print Satchel – £34.00

For all those who have seen Rihanna’s new collection for River Island, you will know its made up of neon limes, asymmetric backs, beetle juice prints and distressed denim. (Half of the range is now completely sold out online).

I’ve never been into the whole ‘beetle juice’ trend before as it has always seemed a bit ‘grunge’, excuse the stereotype. With Rihanna modelling the way, maybe I psychologically think it is a more cooler trend and likewise so do other high street shops? Either way, I am now absolutely in love with it, and I hope with anticipation that Primarni do some great knock offs.

The funniest thing with this trend is that two days before Rihanna’s collection was released My Boyfriend and I went to Cambridge, and he mentioned that he liked the beetle juice style jeans on girls. So, he is obviously one step ahead.

My only critique with the Beetle Juice trend, is that I do think it needs to be teamed with heels and not flats, as it excenuates the stripes and gives you longer looking legs (perfect for me, as I am 5 ft 2 nothing). I think this reason alone, is why men, like my boyfriend enjoy the Beetle Juice print.

Anyone else loving Beetle Juice?
